Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 19 at 3 p.m. At Belmont United Methodist Church with Bro. TISHOMINGO, MS – Ruby Jenell Poole Taylor, 88, died Friday, November 12, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Belmont, MS to the late John Wallace and Annie Mae Poole. She married the love of her life in 1949, Sidney Albert “June Bug” Taylor.
She was most happy when she was helping someone. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Graveside services will be Sunday, November 14, 2 p.m. At Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS with Bro. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be Monday, November 15, 2 p.m.

At the age of 15 the family moved to Duncan, where Rickey graduated from Duncan High School in 1995.
Jody is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years – James C.D. Cleveland, her daughter – Gay Cleveland; her son-in-law – Mike Steele all of Golden; her granddaughters – Shandi Foster of High Point, NC, Cassie Howard of Fulton, and Mikki Steele of Golden. She also has two great-grandchildren – Bella Foster and L.J. Howard; sisters-in-law – Maxine Pardue, Hilma Pardue, Coreese Pardue and Bertyce Cleveland, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Jack was born November 22, 1925 in Ardmore, OK to Alphaeus L. Jack left school to join the Navy in November of 1942 during World War II Jack served as an Aviation Ordnanceman Third Class Petty Officer.
Charles was born July 4, 1943 in Temple, OK to Boyd and Irene “Bowles” Hayes. He graduated from Comanche High Schoolin 1961. He and DiLynn Martin were united in marriage on October 31, 1964 in Wichita Falls, TX. Charles was a welder. Tammy was born January 23, 1959 in Elaine, Arkansas, to Tom and Delona Pickett. She and her husband, and children had made their home in Comanche for many years. She loved to cook, read, and spend time with her grandchildren.
She loved her family, and loved the opportunities to spend time with all of them. Mary was born on August 22, 1932 in Comanche, the daughter of Alva Pauline and Leonard Smith. On June 9, 1956 she married the love of her life Carl “Cotton” L. Mary was a dedicated mother and was devoted to public education in support of her husband. She worked as a school secretary at Liberty Elementary School until retiring to become a full time “Mema”. She enjoyed reading, including her Bible, gardening and attending any activities related to her granddaughters.
He and Ruth Dobson were united in marriage on December 24, 1952 in Gainesville, TX. They were married for 69 years. He was a hard worker who could make something out of nothing. He enjoyed fishing, and also taking his children and grandchildren hunting. He also was a custom combiner, and he raised cattle.
Growing up in the Woolsey area, he stayed with his grandparents on the Powers family farm while his parents traveled for work. On the farm, he spent his days tending cattle, pigs, and chickens, squirrel hunting, fishing, and roaming the creeks. Many of these days in his youth included his childhood partner in crime, Sue Simmons , where the two partook in shenanigans that country kids find. Mikie went to Comanche public schools through 12th grade, where he graduated in 1968.
