He has been currently pastoring Landmark Baptist Church of Dennis, MS since 1999. He retired from Vulcan Materials after twenty-five years of service, to spend time with family and friends, horses and mules. He always put his “God”, his wife, family, friends and his mules first! He loved watching his grandchildren play sports and spending time wagon training with his buddies and family. He was cheerful in all weather, never shirked a task and had splendid behavior and that big ole smile is going to be missed.

A lifelong resident of Tishomingo County, Tommy was born on September 6, 1944 to Semmie and Ollie Belle Greene. Being stricken with the polio virus at twenty-two months old, he lived a remarkable life. He was a 1963 graduate of Tishomingo High School and attended Northeast Junior College and The University of Mississippi.
