Not wanting her to jeopardize her health, they remove her, shrink-wrap and all, from her frigid foot bath (and keep an extremely tight grip on her so she can't get back in the tub and insist she'll get permanent damage-causing bunions if she continues). Derek became friends with her after Michelle helped him get over his stage fright in a play. Aaron has been Michelle's bully ever since preschool, doing things such as pinching her, making her feel bad and manipulating Teddy into not playing with her because she is a girl (even though Teddy still played with Michelle afterwards). In the season three episode "Bye, Bye Birdie", on Michelle's first day of preschool, she meets a boy named Aaron Bailey, who, that day, is able to wear the sharing crown because he brought his toys in. That day, the teacher calls the kids to the reading carpet for story time and Michelle tells the class bird to come to participate, opening the cage and consequently resulting in the bird flying out the open window. A saddened Michelle desperately attempts to get the bird back but at the end of the episode, Danny gets her a new bird for her class. When she brings it in, all the kids love it and Aaron lets Michelle wear the sharing crown for bringing the bird to be the class pet; the two eventually become friends and stay friends throughout the series.

After Michelle's first day of preschool, when she accidentally puts her dress on backwards (and D.J. notices) and then later lets the class bird Dave fly away by accident, she wants to quit preschool, and Jesse agrees to let her drop out, but Danny won't let her. She tries to quit again after a session with Jesse as substitute teacher doesn't go well either, but again, Danny stops that from happening. After graduating from preschool, Michelle goes to Frasier Street Elementary School until the end of the series.

It quickly turned into a competition when Danny Tanner was taunted by a wealthier mom. Michelle was 8 years old in the final season of Full House. In one season, the family built Joey a bedroom in the basement, one reason being that D.J. Felt sorry for him because he had to sleep in the cold and he didn't have a bed or closet to keep his clothes in.
